6. Donations and Fund Management
When a financial transaction is initiated through our website or in connection with a CCF fund, payment processing is handled by Bloomerang Payments (built on Stripe). The CCF does not store your credit card or bank account information on its systems. All payment transactions are subject to Bloomerang’s and Stripe’s own terms of service and privacy policies. Payment forms on ccfnola.org use PCI-compliant technology provided by Stripe. Sensitive payment data entered on our website is transmitted directly to Stripe and is never stored on CCF's servers. Contributions to funds held by CCF may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You will receive a written acknowledgment for tax purposes in accordance with IRS requirements. We recommend consulting your own tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any contribution. CCF reserves the right to decline any contribution or fund request at its sole discretion.
7. DonorCentral Portal
CCF provides access to the DonorCentral portal for Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) holders and other account holders. DonorCentral is hosted and operated by a third-party provider. Your use of DonorCentral is subject to the portal provider’s own terms of service and privacy policy, in addition to these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. CCF is not responsible for any interruption, error, or data loss within the DonorCentral platform. If you have established a Donor-Advised Fund or other charitable fund with CCF, your fund is also governed by the terms of your individual fund agreement with the Foundation, which you signed at the time the fund was established.
8. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website and communications may contain links to third-party websites and services, including but not limited to FreeWill.com, igivecatholic.org and its local partner pages (such as neworleans.igivecatholic.org), DonorCentral, YouTube, and social media platforms. These third-party sites are not operated or controlled by the CCF. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of use. We encourage you to review the policies of any third-party site you visit. Please note: #iGiveCatholic is a separate 501(c)(3) corporation. Any donations made through igivecatholic.org or its local partner pages are governed by that organization’s own terms and privacy policy, not these Terms.
