About the Event
Hosted by the Catholic Community Foundation, the Annual Dinner is a special black-tie event to celebrate generosity throughout the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
Every year, hundreds of people come together to connect with fellow members of the Catholic community. We also gather to recognize and honor the recipients of the Saint John Paul II Award.

About the AwardThe Saint John Paul II Award is presented by the Foundation and the Archbishop each year to a Catholic layperson, married couple, or permanent deacon in the Archdiocese of New Orleans whose life reflects deep faith, exemplary moral character, and generous stewardship in service to others.
This year, in honor of our 50th anniversary, the Award goes to the priests of the Archdiocese.

Congratulations toTHE PRIESTS OF THE ARCHDIOCESE OF NEW ORLEANS
Archbishop James F. Checchio will present the Award at our Annual Dinner on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
Join us as we celebrate 50 years of Catholic generosity. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
