Women's Philanthropy & Development Coordinator Kathi Zimmerman’s primary responsibility is taking care of the Foundation’s donors. In this role, she writes stewardship notes, plans CCF-sponsored events, and supports staff with development-related tasks. Kathi also coordinates the CCF’s Women’s Giving Circle and the Catholic Women in Action Committee.
Before working at the Foundation, Kathi served as development coordinator at the Cenacle Retreat Center and was a high school English, French, and reading teacher for over 16 years. She is a graduate of the University of New Orleans, where she earned both her undergraduate degree and her master of education degree.
In her leisure time, Kathi is a fantastic chef and enjoys catering parties and enjoying time with friends and family on the weekend. She also has a wonderful group of girlfriends, many of whom have been part of her Novel Divas Book Club for over 20 years! Kathi’s greatest achievement, however, is her job as a mother to her two daughters and a grandmother to her four wonderful grandchildren. She is a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
