Held at parishes across the archdiocese on the first Sunday of February, Legacy Sunday is an invitation to leave a lasting gift of faith by remembering your parish in your estate plans.

Officially approved by Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond and the Presbyteral Council, Legacy Sunday is the first archdiocese-wide weekend dedicated to fostering a culture of planned giving. Parishes throughout the Archdiocese of New Orleans, supported by the Catholic Community Foundation, invite parishioners to discover their Catholic legacy and consider including a gift to their parish in their will, helping to ensure the future vitality of our local Church.
